Whew, my great new dental policy has just turned on!
It’s been so long since the last time I was insured that I’ve unfortunately found myself suffering from a little bit of dental pain. The good news is, my new employer offers an insurance plan that is extremely flexible. Because of that, I’m going to be getting my mouth fixed up right. My coverage is so good, in fact, that now I’m actually making plans for going beyond the ordinary basic dentistry work and maybe getting some cosmetic dentistry work done as well. My kids have been hinting around about doing some of those fancy new clear braces or some laser tooth whitening, so I’m seeing what kinds of dough we’d have to lay down on those services.
The major difficulty, for me, is that first I need to find a reputable dentist in our area. I honestly feel terrible acknowledging it, but my family currently has no regular family dentist that we have a relationship with.We live in Tampa, Florida, so I’ve been hunting for a Tampa dentistry office that is good with kids and has a a lot of good experience with the new types of equipment and procedures. It’s tough to find! There are a lot of things to take into consideration when you’re hiring a dentist. For example, I don’t know if I would want to go to a dentist who got the bulk of his experience as a surgeon.
As far as the advanced dental services go, I’ve genuinely been considering the idea. The newest and most up-to-date techniques have certainly been making leaps and bounds over the last few years or so. All the time I’ve been hearing about them on TV, how much better they are than the usual dentistry approaches. I’ve been searching the internet for “laser dentist Tampa” and I’m impressed by how much the training and equipment they use is just light years ahead of what you would have been given 30 years ago, so I’m hoping that my family can enjoy such good dentistry now that I have a a dental insurance plan.
