The realism is, cars are now regard as a need for some people much like how they need electricity and water. Driving ourselves to get to work than taking public transportation can be the measurement of promotion or getting laid off from work, particularly if we take routes that a lot of motorists also use. Driving is also a lot comfortable than having to hang around for the next bus or train schedule elbow to elbow with other people.
Driving comfortably, however, varies from place to place. If your area doesn’t go through traffic jams on a consistent basis, then you have a painless travel life. You also have an easier option to take either your car or public transport without having to worry which one will be quicker in taking you to your destination. You also don’t have to worry consuming more gasoline because of traffic and pay for the next time you gas up if ever you get into a traffic jam.
Then again, if your only best option of route is at all times traffic, you are not on your own. In fact, you should realize that there are more individuals who are unluckier than you since they most likely have to get up earlier than you just to avoid traffic.
Below are some of the worst places to drive a car.
Los Angeles, California, USA: If you ask people in the US which city has the most terrible traffic, a majority of them will say Los Angeles has the worst traffic in the entire 50 states. Los Angeles also has the dirtiest air as a result of too many cars on the road. Motorists spend hours stuck in traffic.
Mumbai, India: Aside from potholes, drivers have to share the road with slower rickshaws, carts, and walking pedestrians. A driver in Mumbai has to be careful not to hit any of them and their only choice is to give way to them even though these roads are really intended for cars only. The crowded roads and streets of Mumbai also stop when animals deemed as sacred such as cows choose to cross or lie down in the middle of the road.
Hong Kong: Hong Kong’s number of cars keeps on growing every year but the problem is that the roads cannot deal with it. The cost in widening Hong Kong’s roads will amount to billions of dollars since buildings have to be demolished and loads of people will have to be relocated.
Manila, Philippines: Traffic in Manila takes place virtually constantly each and every time. Although rush hours have a little to do with it, disciplinary problems play a large factor. Passenger vehicles generally bring about the most traffic in Manila in which buses and jeeps stop wherever they choose to to get passengers that leads to accidents and mishaps. The only days where driving can be relaxing and fun in Manila are Sundays and Holidays seeing as most people are staying in their homes.
There are many more places where traffic is terrible. In this day and age, driving cars should be patient and should think positively when it comes to driving in traffic to be less stressful and possibly entertaining.
