This mountains, bordering Lesotho is a vast National Parkboasting the highest mountain range in our Country. Known to the Zulus as the Barrier of Spears the Drakensberge or Drakensberg Mountains are truly spectacular.
Zulu Heartland – To the west of the Hluhluwe Umfolozi Game Reserves one can explore local traditional museums. Near Ondini find the royal courtyard of Cetshwayo, the Zulu King. The fascinating Vukani Collection Museum is found close to Eshowe and boasts one of the finest collections of Zulu art and culture to be found anywhere
On Safari – Famous for it’s Rhino conservation programme and wildlife viewing, Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Park is the best of this province’s reserves and boasts with a fantastic cross section of wildlife.
