Exercise is a great tool to stay in shape. It is said that the best of the exercises are the cardiovascular conditioning exercises. The reason due to which people do not do them or do not stick to an exercise program is that very quickly, after the start, it tends to be too boring. Also it requires a lot of commitment to get dressed up everyday and leave home for an hour or two.

With increasing work hours and increasingly stressful lifestyles people are finding it even harder to stick to an exercise program. After a 9-hour shift job, I used to find it too hard to get out of my home to even fetch daily groceries. Well, in most of the states the groceries are yet to be delivered at home. But thankfully both simple and vigorous exercise schedules can be carried out in the comfort of the home.

One of the best things that one can do at home is to exercise using an exercise bike. It is great fro cardiovascular conditioning and to tone up the leg muscles. There are three main types to choose from. The first one is the Upright exercise bike. This is just like the regular bike. The second type is the recumbent exercise bike. This bike has a low seat and a padded back for increased comfort. This is often recommended to people having knee or back problems. However the elderly and the people with very hectic schedules can also use it for an increased level of comfort. The third type is called the Training Cycles exercise bike. This bike is mostly used at the gyms because it offers enhanced programs and vigorous exerting patterns.

Once you buy an exercise bike or a schwinn recumbent bike, do not forget it to team up with a stereo system to listen to your favorite music while exercising.
