The Sony HDR-XR200V, launched in the early part of 2009, is a 120GB, 1/5-inch 2.3-megapixel ClearVid CMOS sensor gadget that comprises a 15x zoom lens with a couple of enhancements like GPS for geotagging and an optical stabilizer for better compensation for video taking while walking, capabilities normally found on its higher end siblings, the Sony HDR-XR500V and the Sony HDR-XR520V and finally, a smaller size.
Also revealed early last year, the Sony HDR-XR500 series has two hard disk based AVCHD models, the Sony HDR-XR500V and the Sony HDR-XR520V. These two camcorders encompass innovative traits like built-in GPS and the new|all-new|brand new|new-fangled|novel|cutting edge|avantgarde|breakthrough|progressive|radical|state of the art|unconventional} Exmor-R back-illuminated CMOS sensor. It also holds an bettered SteadyShot image stabilization system and a solid feature set.
The Sony HDR-XR500V comprises a 120GB drive while the Sony HDR-XR520V comprises a 240GB drive. Despite of having a full set of features, these gadgets are primed with a noticeably costly price tag. For the amount of money you would be paying, individuals would expect to have alot more prosumer capabilities and not merely a full set of consumer features.
